Stacey Peppernick

When Stacey Peppernick started at Ware as an activity aid in 2002, becoming a nurse was merely a dream.  Now, seven years later, Stacey is an independent living wellness nurse, thanks to the Florence Nightingale Scholarship fund.  The first step on her journey was to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, which she achieved in 2003.  While working the evening shift, she was encouraged by Charlie Middleton to apply for the scholarship which he and his wife (a former nurse) Peg founded.  The scholarship enabled her to pursue her studies full-time while working weekends at Ware.  But, her journey is not over!  Stacey plans to continue her studies and become a Registered Nurse.
