Ware Presbyterian Village is pleased to be accredited by CARF-CCAC.
The Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) was founded in 1985 and dedicated to fostering excellence, integrity and innovation in the aging services field. To enhance these important efforts, CCAC merged in 2003 with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an independent, not-for-profit accrediting body promoting quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process. The alignment of these respected organizations has been a positive step in creating an independent resource to help consumers identify high-quality care providers for older adults.
An organization receiving this Five-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF-CCAC's high standards. It is widely regarded as the "seal of excellence" in identifying high quality programs and services to older adults.

Independent Living
Spacious Country Villas and comfortable apartments combine with an array of services designed to provide freedom, privacy, and security. Base prices for villas range from $99,000 to $310,000. Base prices for apartments range from $95,000 to $120,000.
Wellness Program with Community Health NurseAssisted Living
Blood pressure screenings, healthy living seminars, and other wellness services are coordinated by licensed nursing staff to foster healthy lifestyles and keep residents independent in the least restrictive environment.
Ware Presbyterian Village At-Home Services
Our At-Home Services provide homemaker, companion, nursing and other services to help our residents maintain their independence in their Villas and apartments.
We've recently added 32 new apartments to our assisted living residence, Steward Place. With an architectural style that complements the features of the 1880 mansion from which our community has grown, Steward Place provides comfortable apartment living combined with personal care in a cozy community-within-a-community.
Respite Assisted LivingLong-Term & Short-Term Skilled Nursing Care
Short-term stay program to provide relief to family caregivers for vacations, etc.
The Oxford Health Center provides 24-hour care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Rehabilitative TherapyMedicare and Medicaid Certified
Physical, occupational, or speech therapy services provided to restore a maximum level of functioning.
Specialized Dementia/Alzheimer's Unit
Specialized program delivered in skilled nursing environment for persons living with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.
Hospice Services
Comfort, emotional and spiritual support services provided to persons with terminal illness and their families.
Skilled Nursing Respite Services
Short-stay skilled nursing care program to provide relief to family caregivers for vacations, etc.
Therapeutic Pet Visits
Pets visit with residents and become a valued part of the therapeutic approach. Residents light up when they see these welcome, loving, little friends.
